Identifying icons found at a flea market
I found these icons at a flea market a few days ago and thought they were interesting. Could someone tell me what the icon on the right depicts? Also, what is Jesus holding in that icon, and what does the inscription say? I know a little Greek but I can't decipher the letters.
Main points
- What is the icon on the right?
- What is Jesus holding?
- What does the Greek inscription say?
- The author knows some Greek but cannot read the letters.
