Prayer request for job search and career

I'm finishing my senior year of college in the next six months. The job market looks very bleak, and I struggled to even secure an internship.

I'm terrified. I haven't been able to sleep, study, concentrate, eat, or even pray properly because I've been worrying night and day. The fear has seized my stomach and made me physically sick. My fiancée and I are engaged and will marry this summer, and two years after that she starts medical school, at which point I'll be the sole provider for both of us.

I majored in business administration and completed multiple internships, and I want to pursue a career in HR and healthcare administration. But the job market is so bleak I don't believe it's possible to land even a basic role.

Please, I know I'm not worthy of your prayers and this is an incredibly selfish request, but if you could pray for my success in finding a job, I cannot express my gratitude.

My friend, I'm in the exact same position as you. We can only do what is up to us, the rest will be as God wills it. It's hard to say don't worry, but as long as you keep trying, something might pop up, just don't get discouraged. I got rejected from an internship this morning, but I can only move on, nothing productive comes of mourning and worry. We got this!

God bless you brother... and I'm glad you brought your concerns to brothers and sisters in Christ. One of my favorite scriptures is Acts 4:34, "There were no needy among them". I don't know where you are, but there's an entrepreneurial app I love that helps people discover their calling. If you or anyone else is struggling with that, I'd be happy to share it. So much of our life is spent on our jobs, but our job is only what we're paid for. Our calling is what we're made for, and without it, this life can feel pretty desolate.

I'm not in your field, but give the app "hiring cafe" a try. I landed two roles through it, it aggregates multiple job boards and filters out a lot of the fake/scam ones. Best wishes and I will keep you in my prayers!
