    Basically the State Church of Greece switched the Church calendar to pursue masonic and heretical goals. The most traditional parts of the Greek church, both laypeople and monastics, resisted the change, but they could not remain in the state church and stay Orthodox. Some of those zealots, like the ones named in this post, later went over to the heretical New Calendarists, mostly because of the private revelations described in the post

  The calendar issue is one of the sneaky tricks of the cunning one trying to pull Orthodoxy toward papism, so we all need to be careful. Us Serbs still keep the Old Calendar, but the sneaky one also attacks through the changes, requirements and preparation around Holy Communion, which is just as dangerous. That said, we owe obedience to our spiritual father since he knows us best, and if he is in error we can seek counsel from the church fathers and pray to Our Heavenly Father for His guidance and mercy

    Practically most Serbs belong to the Serbian patriarchate, which recognizes the mysteries of new calendar churches. And when Serbs go to Greece, if they want to attend liturgies they go to new calendar churches, for example the church of Saint great martyr Dimitrios or churches wherever they happen to be on summer vacation

    The new Julian calendar was made by Milutin Milanković. King Alexander wanted it to match the Gregorian so holidays would not be celebrated twice. The new Julian calendar is much better than the Gregorian, and it can be aligned with the old one if that is the problem

  The new calendar remains a serious error and those who brought it in will answer for it one day. It has produced many schisms and broken the liturgical life of the church. Lord have mercy

    If there is a schism over the new calendar, and the new calendar is wrong, then it is the Old Calendarists who stayed in the Church, even if the majority walked out
