Holy Trinity in Clearwater rebuilt in the Byzantine tradition after a 2015 fire

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater, Florida, lost its sanctuary to a devastating fire in 2015. The parish rebuilt its church in the Byzantine tradition and opened the new sanctuary on Christmas Eve 2019. The opening date carried meaning for the community: it came fifty years after the parish held its first Divine Liturgy in 1969.

The sacred iconography in the new church was created by artists from Greece, including the iconographer Achilles Tourlas. The post presents the church in both English and Greek, naming it Αγία Τριάδα Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία, and is credited as an original production of Prayer Orthodoxy, tagged with Orthodox, Faith, Church, Byzantine and Greece.
