Christ is not one option among many: one Lord, one faith, one truth

Christ is not one option among many: one Lord, one faith, one truth

Christianity does not present Christ as one option among many, one teacher among many, or one truth among many. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5). Truth does not change with culture, feelings, or the spirit of the age.

Scripture warns that behind idolatry and false worship there can be spiritual deception: "The things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God" (1 Corinthians 10:20). That is why Christians are called to discernment: not every spiritual experience, teaching, or religion comes from God.

The apostles did not die proclaiming that every path leads to God. They proclaimed the crucified and risen Christ: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Christ died. Christ conquered death. Christ is risen and alive forevermore. One Christ. One Gospel. One Faith. One Truth.

What's the problem with Judaism? It's the old testament anyway.

Jews don't follow the old testament, they follow the rabbinic Talmud.

    • opinion#1769

They actually claim Jesus is burning in excrement in hell, and that the mother of our God was... I don't even know how to write it, for the streets?

The Jews killed the Messiah. They deny He fulfilled the prophecies in the Old Testament and are still waiting.

    • opinion#1771

Judaism is unfulfilled because they reject the New Testament.

Bro, the Talmud comes directly from the Torah and Jews do follow the Torah. It's not that Judaism is wrong, it's about the Jews failing to accept Christ as God. Matthew 5:17... Yeshua followed the law and encouraged his followers to do the same... and there are plenty of Jews who do follow Christ.

Yeahhh there are two Talmuds, and the Talmud is the Torah which talks about the Messiah. You do realize the Torah is 5 books, right? lol I never said Judaism is wrong, I said the Jews don't follow the old testament, they follow the Babylonian Talmud lol. You're confusing ethnicity with religion, it shows how stupid you are.

Why is there anti-Semitism in the 21st century?

While yes, the post "calls for being against Judaism," you also need to remember why Christ came down as one of us. He established the new law, which "the Jews" refuse, so biblically speaking Christians are the new Jews and the church became the biblical Israel. So why should we stand with those who refuse our Lord? Same goes for Muslims: yes, they believe in Christ, but not that he is one with God. So while we should stand against both faiths, we shouldn't be against the people, since they're lost sheep who can still find their way to God. Hope this helps explain the Christian point of view on this.

So atheists, who don't believe in anyone, have a living God too? 😁 How absurd! And one more thing, tell me: that's neither an image of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) nor of Prophet Jesus. As for the others, I don't know.

Jesus prays to the Father because he is the Word made flesh: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." And since he became flesh he still prayed to the Father (Jeremiah 30:26-27: "Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh"). Also, him and the Father are one either way 🤷 John 10:30: "I and the Father are one." And if we're using the Quran, doesn't it also say he's coming back to judge? Why is he coming to judge? I thought only God can judge? Oh wait, that's right, Jesus is God, hallelujah 🤧✝️

I'll prove from your own Bible that Jesus wasn't crucified. John 11:41-42: Jesus lifts his eyes and says, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me." Jesus says God always answers Him. Matthew 26:39: he falls on his face and prays, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Jesus prays to be saved from the crucifixion. Mark 15:34: at the ninth hour he cries out, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" meaning "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Christians say he's quoting Psalm 22, which begins exactly that way and says God does not answer. But those words are the opposite of how Jesus prayed; God always answered him. Psalm 91:14-16 says of the Messiah: "Because he loves me, I will rescue him... With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." That's a prophecy of the Messiah's deliverance from crucifixion. And Psalm 20:6: "Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven." An explicit prophecy of Christ's deliverance.

Jesus came to fulfill Jewish prophecy, not to start a new religion. The person you're really following is Paul, someone who never met Jesus in person and clashed with the remaining apostles over his Graeco-Romanized version of Jesus for Gentiles like you. That's exactly why Paul clashed with James and Peter at that one meeting in Jerusalem. Peter and James pushed to keep the Jewish roots of the Messianic movement they actually knew from Jesus, wanting circumcision and salvation for Jews only, with Jesus having said to keep the Jewish Law. Paul argued against all that. Whether Jews accept Jesus or not is their own internal matter; Jesus never came for non-Jews. You say you don't follow the dead, but Jesus is dead. His message lasted only 3 years, and only for Jews. Guru Nanak Sahib's message is literally still here, with the Guru Granth Sahib as the Sovereign Guru. Of the 6 major organized religions, only one has a founder who wrote the scripture his followers keep: Guru Nanak Sahib. The Gospels came 80-120 years after Jesus died (for calling him a Jewish Messiah, not God). 33 years isn't long enough to deliver a true message from The True God. But 239 years is. Guru Nanak Sahib knew this; his message from God was so strong he had to keep a physical form through 10 Gurus (1469-1708) to deliver the true word, then immortalized it in the Guru Granth Sahib, which still exists.…

Your own Church Fathers admit Christianity is a continuation of pagan Roman belief. Justin Martyr (c. 100-165 CE), in the First Apology, Chapter XXI, writes that when Christians say the Word, the first-birth of God, was produced without sexual union, that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, rose again and ascended to heaven, they propound nothing different from what pagans believe about the sons of Jupiter. He then lists them: Mercury, the interpreting word and teacher of all; AEsculapius, struck by a thunderbolt yet ascending to heaven; Bacchus, torn limb from limb; Hercules, who burned himself to escape his toils; the sons of Leda and the Dioscuri; Perseus, son of Danae; Bellerophon, who rose to heaven on Pegasus. He adds Ariadne and those set among the stars, and the deified emperors, for whom someone swears he saw the burning Caesar rise from the funeral pyre. He says those tales were written to encourage young scholars to imitate the gods, while rejecting the idea that Jupiter himself was a parricide and son of a parricide, overcome by shameful pleasures. That's your own Church Father saying it, not me.

I can't understand why porn, celebrities, feminism and hedonism are treated as the most dangerous anti-christian things in that worldview. I get abortion, but what about war, poverty, starvation... things that actually kill people and make them suffer far more than any of those.
